ATF have a wide selection of qualified assessors and verifiers that have considerable experience in the fitness and wellbeing sector for course assessment and verification. We can provide a variety of assessments against the national standards of vocationally related qualifications (VRQs) and national vocational qualifications (NVQs). This service is available to schools, colleges, in fact any organisation in the fitness and wellbeing sector.

ATF, an approved test centre, now provides a formal route for applicants to become certified fitness professionals in the UK. In conjunction with REPS, this route can be achieved by an Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) or Accreditation of Prior Achievement (APA)
ATF welcomes University graduates from the Sport and Science fields, qualified instructors and trainers from outside of the UK and experienced instructors and trainers that do not hold any formal qualifications.
If you wish to go through the approval process, please contact us and one of our our qualified tutors will then carry out an initial assessment. You will be offered guidance and support throughout the assessment process. All successful candidates will receive an Awarding Body certificate. Any manuals, learning resources or any guided study would be an additional cost and at the discretion of the Test Centre/Training Provider (The final price is at the discretion of the centre dependent on the experience of the applicant)

A personal trainer is a skilled teacher, motivator, communicator and continual student of fitness and positive lifestyle change. We serve a valuable purpose in helping people become healthier and happier and in improving the quality of many lives.
ATF personal trainers are responsible for screening clients and evaluating their ability to take part in fitness programmes. They have the capability to individualize exercise programmes to fit client goals and recognise that one of their main duties is to enhance clients' feelings of self-efficacy, the feeling of 'I can do it; I am capable'.
Teamed up with his wife, ATF owner runs Taekwon-Do Academy - having both won a silver medal at the ITF World Taekwon-Do Championships, it has now inspired them to spread their knowledge to others. Their son, Samuel, is closely following in their footsteps - winning his first ever gold medal in his first ever competition and becoming the 2009 British Open Champion.
