NASM Introduction to Personal Fitness Training (IPFT) serves as an entry point to exploring a career in the Health and Fitness Industry. This course also serves as a pre-requisite to NASM's Certified Personal Training (CPT) course.
The IPFT is a world class vocational course that provides expert instruction on the fundamentals of fitness training and an introduction to students wanting to work in the Fitness Industry.
IPFT provides entry onto the REPs at Level 2.
Learners will cover: br>
- Core concepts in flexibility, stabilisation and resistance training
- Cardiorespiratory and overall wellness, weight control and lifestyle modification
- What to expect when getting started as a Certified Personal Trainer (please note the IPFT will not qualify you as a Personal Trainer)
- What it takes to become a successful Health & Fitness Professional
